Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

This collection consists of 904 photographs taken and collected by Daryl Chase from the turn of the century through the late 1960s. Included are personal images such as the Chase family cabin in Nephi, and Chase's life in the 1920s and 30s including his LDS mission. Also included are photographs during his service as president of Utah State University from 1954 through 1968 such as graduations, social functions, campus shots, Iranian relations, and meetings. Finally, there are miscellaneous images of New England Shakers, Iranian students, Iranian ambassador Ardeshir Zahedi, and images that were part of a study put together in order to solicit funding for new building construction.
