Scope and Contents
Outlook magazine was published by Utah State University from 1969 to 1994. It is the predecessor to the Utah State Magazine and served primarily to inform USU alumni about current affairs at the University. Cliff Cahoon was the editor of the paper during its entire run. The photos in the collection were used or intended to be used in the magazine and consist of faculty and staff portraits, departmental photos, building projects, student artwork, athletics, speakers, USU alumni, events and scenes at Utah State University, Aggie supporters, and student affairs. Some of the photos are historical images made from existing Special Collections photographs. For more information about Outlook please see the original copies and article index located in University Archives in Special Collections.
In order to save space the collection was condensed from its original 29 boxes to its current 16 boxes. This means that the standard numbering system (box#:folder#:photo#) used for other photograph collections in Special Collections is incorrect. The photo number is correct, but the box and folder number after box one are not.
