Scope and Contents
This photograph collection consists of 768 slides, snapshots, 35mm negatives, and 8x10 photographs. The images document the Utah Wilderness Association (UWA) from the 1970s to the 1990s and include wilderness areas, potential wilderness areas, creeks, conferences, overgrazing, outdoor recreation, drilling, and UWA founder Dick Carter. Most of the outdoor images are from southern Utah.
In some instances, photo logs have been provided by the photographers. Caption information is taken directly from the snapshots and slides when available.
