Scope and Contents
The USU Irrigation Engineering Photograph Collection consists of color slides, black and white negatives, and black and white photographs from projects and studies relating to irrigation but also a variety of water issues such as cloud seeding, ice encasement, salinity, water conservation, and drought studies. Most of the images are from Cache Valley but there are also Utah images from Rich, Juab, and Sevier counties as well as Fruita, Spanish Fork, Circleville, Kanosh, Grantsville, Richfield, Monticello, Riverton, and Parawan. Also included are images of dams and irrigation projects in Montana, New Mexico, Idaho, and Arizona as well as images from Canada, Brazil, and El Salvador. These images were taken by several irrigation and agricultural engineering professors including Lyman Willardson, Robert Hill, Jack Keller, Don Griffin, Bob Hagans, Bud Delay and Dean Peterson.
