Scope and Contents
This Correspondence concerns Ida Ann Rice. Apparently Rice was an infant when the Battle of Bear River occurred, and was found alive by freighter William Rose a few days after the battle was fought. Rose brought the girl back to Farmington, Utah, where she was raised as Ida Ann Rice. Also included is an historical sketch entitled "A Sketch of the Life of Ida Ann Rice," by Emma Rice.
