This collection contains research, notes, correspondence, articles, and photographic images collected by Bob Woodward. Many of the research notes relate to individual biographies he collected of outdoor industry pioneers, many of which were later included in a special publication sponsored by Outdoor Retailer. The majority of the photographs, negatives, and proof sheets are from his time spent with such organizations and events as the Norwegian Ski Council, Powder Prom, Ski Industry Association (SIA), REI flagship store opening, and SNEWS Poly Parties. Other pamphlets, articles, and instructional booklets relate to his interests in other sports like kayaking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing.
