The collection consists of books, journal articles, academic journals, papers, and other publications regarding water management, water policy, and irrigation issues--both national and international. It also contains Vol. 1-23 of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development Comprehensive Report and a map supplement.

Biographical Note
Garth Nelson Jones (b. 1925) is Professor Emeritus of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Alaska at Anchorage. He received the B.S. from Utah State University in 1947, then the M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Utah in 1948 and 1954, all in political science. During his career he has written about a dozen monographs on public policy, and numerous articles on Mormon history and culture.
