This collection contains records concerning the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan, Utah, Second Ward, genetics research slides and research, correspondence, degrees and honors, Logan, Utah Rotary Club materials, medical articles, typescripts of “My Valley” by Gardner, and Gardner’s research on Logan, Utah. Bob has some boxes to add to this collection.

Biographical Note
Eldon J. Gardner was born on June 5, 1909. Gardner attended Utah State Agricultural College where he received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in zoology. He later graduated from the University of California, Berkeley where he received his Doctor of Philosophy in Zoology. Gardner became a prominent geneticist and biologist and wrote more than 300 publications in his lifetime. He died on February 1, 1989.
