Consists of "real photograph," linen, and various other types of postcards. Most of the images are of Utah or the Inter-mountain West and date from 1900 to 1940. Also includes portraits and images of Mormon religious and historic sites.
Arrangement
The cards are arranged in alphabetical order by location with one "miscellaneous" category (consisting mostly of portraits) for cards with no given location.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
This collection began with cards that were deemed unnecessary and removed from other collections (i.e. no correspondence or identification on the card) and from loose cards gathered throughout the Special Collections Department.
