Scope and Contents

The Newton Library photograph collection consists of copied portraits of WWI and WWII veterans from Newton, Utah as well as original images of 1930s Newton basketball teams and 1920s school groups. A later addition included groups of photocopied documents from several veterans connected to the Griffin family, and includes personal accounts and documents relating to their war service.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Donated by Cleo Griffin and the Newton Library in 2009. Veteran historical materials added in 2024.
