Biographical / Historical

Frank Boyer Salisbury was born on August 2, 1926 in Provo, Utah to his parents Frank and Catherine. As a young man, he served in World War II, obtained degrees from Univeristy of Utah and the California Instutute of Technology. He taught at Pomona college, and Colorado State and later became the Plant Science Department Head at Utah State University until 1991. He wrote 23 books in his life time. He passed on December 26, 2015.
