Biographical Note
Amy Madsen Beecher was born in Brigham City, Utah, to Roland and Abbie Rees Madsen on June 6, 1915. She married Asa Leland Beecher in 1934, with whom she raised one son, Dale. A gifted musician, Amy worked as elementary music supervisor to Logan schools and served on the utah State Board for Music Education. She passed away on April 12, 1992.
