Tueller Family papers
Scope and Contents
This collection contains papers related to the family history of the Tueller Family. Series I: Family History contains pedigree charts, genealogical research notes, and biographical sketches of members of the Tueller family, Von Almen family, and their descendants. There is even a book about the Tuellers titled The Third Generation consisting of a compilation of biographical sketches, photographs, and pedigree charts. Another book in this section, Stories of Faith and Determination contains a full history of the Tueller Family in Utah including biographical sketches often containing autobiographical information. This section also includes documents such as certificates, wills, diplomas, and yearbooks that had belonged to members of the family, as well as materials relating to family reunions and other events.
Series II: Journals contains mostly the journals of Adeline Tueller Kloepfer though there are some that were written by other members of the Tueller Family.
Series III: Correspondence consists mostly of correspondence to Dallas and Maxine Tueller though there are also a variety of letters to other members of the family.

Biographical Note
Jacob and Margaretha (Kunz) Tueller moved from Switzerland to the United States in 1883 after converting to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jacob was a stonecutter and helped in the building of the Tabernacle in Paris, Idaho.
Adeline Tueller Kloepfer was born January 2, 1893 in Paris, Idaho to Christian and Elizabeth Von Almen Tueller. In 1912, she trained as a nurse at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. She was always very involved within the LDS Church and in 1949 she was made the President of the Paris First Ward Primary.
Dallas Alma Tueller was born was born December 3, 1909 to Christian and Elizabeth Von Almen Tueller in Paris, Idaho. In 1929 he attended Brigham Young University. He married Maxine Anderson December 20, 1934. Following school, Dallas taught at a series of Junior High Schools and Colleges. Like his sister Adeline, Dallas Tueller was also a devout Mormon and active in the church.

Abstract
This collection contains a variety of materials from different members of the Tueller family including journals, photographs, family history material and documents pertaining to the LDS Swiss Mission.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
This material was given to Special Collections by the Tueller Family Organization in 1997. Additional materials were donated in 2004 and 2010 by Alden B Tueller.
Processing Information
Initially processed in May of 2012, with a full inventory added later.
