Lemon was born 1901 in Ferron, Utah and moved to Moab, Utah in 1953. He published "Rhymes of a ranch hand" in 1961.

German paper money, notgeld, etc., 1904-1924

Folder containing German paper currency, from 1904 to 1924, tipped into a cardboard cover with a paper entitled Deutsches Geld and inflation by Willis A. Dial. The currency includes pre-World War I or Weimar Republic notes. The Weimar Republic notes are considered Notgeld (emergency money), and include the inflationary notes of 1922 and 1923. Printed face values run from 50 pfennigs to 20 billion marks. Originally in folder with two Summit County, Utah election tickets from 1878.

Smokers Unanimous membership cards, 1995-1996

Scope and Contents

Smokers Unanimous began in 1995 as a reaction to the Utah Indoor Clean Air Act. It is a smokers' rights group which was started by Jack Belden of the Silverado Cafe in Roy, Utah as well as other businesses. The first year they sold membership cards for one dollar and in 1996 the cost increased to three dollars.

Un-used Springville Co-operative Mercantile Institution stock certificate (all spaces blank). When Brigham Young instituted the Zion's Cooperative Mercantile Institution in Salt Lake City in 1868, Mormon wards throughout the Utah Territory set up their own cooperatives, such as the Springville Co-operative Mercantile Institution.
