Abstract

Collection consists of photographs taken of a survey that included streams and lakes in Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. Many photos show fish shelters, rip-rapping, stream improvements, and fish counts. Some of the photographs were taken by A.S. Hazzard.

Images of E. W. Glafcke and his United States Geological Survey crew, which included Glafcke, A.L. Mitchell, and Elt Waisner. Abstract The United States Geological Survey (USGS) 100,000 Scale Maps include 2,332 30 X 60 Minute Quadrangle topographic maps. These maps were created from the 1:24,000 scale USGS topographic maps with the purpose of land management, conservation, and outdoor recreation (Makower, 1990).
