Abstract The diaries of Abby Groesbeck Jenson contain a virtually daily account of her life from 1928 to 1963. She originally lived in Brigham City, moving to Logan after the death of her husband in 1939. Entries are mostly ordinary household matters, concerned with her literary and gardening interests, and probably give a good day by day account of average household work in a middle class northern Utah home during the period.
