The collection consists of David W. Peterson's master's thesis research notes which outline the events that occurred during the devastating fires in Yellowstone National Park in 1988.
US Forest Service photograph collection
Consists of 94 black and white photographs and two negatives, taken from 1910 to 1949 with the majority from the 1920s, by the US Forest Service of Region 4. Included are images of recreation, landscape scenes, geological formations, Forest Service personnel, structures, towns, equipment, American Indians, and Forest Service projects. Most of the photographs were taken in the Cache, Wasatch, Sawtooth, and Fish Lake National Forests.
