Abstract Ronald Jensen was born in Huntsville, Utah. In 1916 he enlisted in the Marine Corps and served until the end of World War I. In 1929 he became the head of the banking department of a California cotton company. Soon after his retirement in 1970, he bought the Grant Hill Farm in Cache Valley and donated it to Utah State University in order that it become the Ronald V. She originally lived in Brigham City, moving to Logan after the death of her husband in 1939. Entries are mostly ordinary household matters, concerned with her literary and gardening interests, and probably give a good day-by-day account of average household work in a middle-class northern Utah home during the period.
